When it comes to going to the bathroom....
Do you go by the motto "If its yellow let it mellow/ If its brown flush it down" to conserve water? Or do you flush everytime?
Does being green affect the amount of tp you use?
I'm curious cause I remember something about Sheryl Crowe telling everyone only to use one square of tp when they go to the bathroom. I don't know what SHE does in there but one square is not enough for me!

I don't really do the whole if it's yellow let it mellow thing.
We do not use TP any more. We use family cloth, which is just cloth wipes. I wash them when I wash diapers. It's so much better than TP! I don't get anything stuck in my cracks, I only have to use 1 wipe normally, we never run out. We have TP in the house for company and a 4 pack of TP lasted us for 3 months. Plus we save money :)

We practice that. Mostly because I don't use the kids bathroom, and dh worked nights, so I tried to be quiet and not wake him. It became an ingrained habit. Were getting ready to start family cloth, at least with dh and me. Dh has irritable bowel syndrome, so he can go thru an entire roll on really bad days. MommaG, you should make a post on family cloth and how to use it.
