That's why I tried it. Iit works pretty good for me and it's lasted a couple months so far.

Quoting SalmonBerry87:

I'm going to try this! Its the first one I've seen without 100 ingredients.

Quoting chrissysnow22:

DEODORANT

Ingredients:

Coconut oil

baking soda

arrowroot powder or cornstarch

( I used cornstarch)

Combine equal portions of baking soda & arrowroot powder. I use about 1/4 cup each. Then slowly add coconut oil and work it in with a spoon until it maintains the substance you desire (I use approx 5-6 Tbls). It should be about the same texture as the store bought kind. You can either scoop this into your old dispensers or place in a small container with lid and apply with fingers with each use.

You may add EO's to it if you want it scented.

I need to try that for Dd. Her hair is getting long enough to tangle

Quoting SalmonBerry87:

Natural Hair Detangler

8 oz. distilled water

1 tsp. aloe vera gel

1-2 drops glycerin

1-2 drops essential oil

15 drops Grapefruit seed Extract Instructions: Combine in a spray bottle. Shake before each use.

I haven't used this yet cause my hair is too short but I'm saving it for when my hair grows out.

For those who no 'poo- my favorite vinegar rinse
(In a 22oz bottle)

2oz ACV in the bottle
Make a cup of Tazo brand "Calm" tea and pour it in
1 drop patchouli, 3 drops lavender
Fill the rest of the way with water

Good luck! With mine you have to make sure and let the water run with the soap first or the grated soap will clump up in like towels and stuff :/

I'm new to the homemade products so what's EO?

I just bought a couple of the ingredients yesterday to make my own laundry soap.  I still have to get the A & H washing soda.  The recipe I have is a little different from yours, SalmonBerry.  This'll be my first time making it.

O.k.  I got all the stuff, but now I hesitate to make it.  As you can see, I have a problem with procrastinating.

This is what I use. It works great unless you take it camping..then it melts...and make sure you aluminum free baking soda...that's what's in store (one of the many things) bought deodorant that can cause breast cancer

2 moms liked this
Cinna-Mint toothpaste. (I just made this today)

3 Tbls baking sooda
1 Tbls cinnamon
1 stevia packet
2 tbls coconut oil
10 drops peppermint oil

I mixed the dry ingrediants first then the coconut oil.
It smells amazing and has a very light, not overpowering at all taste.

Well I was unimpressed with just mint and I didn't want to do cinnamon clove oil like I saw somewhere else so I decided to give it a shot and then tried it out. It smells so good I wanna eat it lol.
