Green Tip of the Day 2.11.12 (psst this is one of my favorites!)

Make your hair shine while giving it a serious dose of moisture by combining 3 tablespoons of raw honey in a pint of water and massaging the mixture into the hair and scalp. Put on a shower cap and leave the stuff on for 20 minutes, then rinse well with cool water. You can save the mixture; do this once a week for best results.

I am hesitant to try this because I picture it being all sticky and gross.

1 mom liked this

Silly girls, of course it's sticky! It's honey :) ....but you rinse it out. :) Has anyone tried an olive oil hair mask? It's the same concept and a good cheap way to treat yourself!
