So its barely even summer and we have had to pull numerous ticks of the kids. Do yall know of any natural way to repel them, if there is one?

I don't know how to prevent them from biting... maybe an all purpose spray on bug repellant would work? I've seen a recipe for one but can't remember where...

same here. Ticks are bad this year, and it's only may.

On a chicken note, yesterday on our walk home from school....ds and I saw 2 stray chickens in a dried up stream. I have no idea where they came from. We are in the suburbs (so chickens are not a common sight) and were walking on a major road w/very few homes. Ds wanted to bring them home...lol.

IDK what would have been a funnier sight, my big hide chasing after them or me and my 5yr old awkwardly walking (about 1/2 a mile at that point) a couple of unwilling chickens home. ;)
