Tinctures

So I picked up a couple of tinctures today and I'm pretty excited about it! The children's tranquility can be used for adults too and I have been streeeessed lately.
I think I may have actually taken a little too much though bc I feel like I could go to sleep right this instant. Not a care in the world at the moment!

Do any of you ever use or make tinctures?

I don't know what they are. I'm assuming a homeopathic 'drug"?!?!?!

Lol! Yes, the main ingredient in the tranquility is chamomile.

Gotcha! I've never used them (obviously...lol), but I really don't take much as far as supplements/'drugs/meds' go. Soooo....even if I knew what they were I probably wouldn't have a need for them anyway ;)

Have you ever had chamomile tea? It's just like a concentrated version of that!

A tincture is an alcoholic extract (e.g. of leaves or other plant material) or solution of a non-volatile substance (e.g. of iodine, mercurochrome).
Basically the herb is soaked in alcohol and you just add a few drops to a glass of water or something.

I tried it once but didn't like the way it tasted. I'm not generally a fan of tea, unless it's iced that is.
