I cleaned out my closet this weekend and have a bunch of stuff to donate, but I also have dime ratty old jeans that I can't donate, but I dint want to just throw away. Any ideas for a cute upcycle? Not too much sewing!

Snack bag

I found the directions on Pinterest. Can't remember if you are on there or not. But it's pretty easy- I am sure I can explain it if you want :-)

That's a good idea for the pockets! Chase is still rearfacing but in a year or two he will be forward.

Like make it into a pouch that hangs over the car seat so they can reach the pockets.

You could use the pockets for matchbox car pouches...somehow.

I like the snack bag idea. Reusable shopping bags, rags, purses, patches.

Ooo! Maybe a fishing bag for Chase to carry!! I don't really see me rockin a Jean purse, but it would be great material for a fishing satchel!!

Lol! Yes, but some are too small and torn up enough that I can't donate them. I have one pair in the bunch though that will just be rag worthy!

Quoting fallnangel3:

Idk I wear them till they are nothing then use them for my engine rags lol

I have a nook :P
But didn't someone try to make an ereader cover in here? Looked very complicated...
I do like the snack bag idea. I think I'm going to do a little kit for Chase to take fishing with a little area for his snacks and then a pocket for worms and whatnot!

Kindle cover?

Sandwich baggies? or snack baggies?

I make braided rag rugs out of mine. minimal sewing and they hold up well even with ratty jeans.
