Anyone use this instead of sugar? What do you think? I won't use artificial crap and sometimes I don't like the way honey oversweetens things. So, agave nectar?

It's honestly not that great for you. You can use raw cane sugar or maple syrup to sweeten things with better health effects.

I use pureed dates. They are awesome and the most nutritious choice.

i have tried it and i love it, especially in drinks: Xagave is the best tasting and only fiber rich agave nectar that saves calories and has a low glycemic index.

Can you used pureed dates in recipes and such?  I've been looking for an altervative to sugar.  I use raw cane sugar right now and I also have maple syrup

Absolutely! I use them in all if my recipes.

I even sprinkle the puree into my cereal or oatmeal in the mornings. It's more of a texture issue than taste. Once you get used to the texture, it is amazing! Like anything else, your senses must get used to it before they prefer it.
