Hey everyone, I was just thinking if it is possible to make your own sunscreen. I just read this article talking about all these terrible things that are in most of the sunscreens we use, and which ones are good. But that got me thinking, what if I could make my own sunscreen? Has anyone out there made their own sunscreen? How well does it work? How do you make it? If you don't make your own, do you use an all natural or organic sunscreen? Please let me know!!

Coconut oil! Sounds crazy but it works!
What do you do? Just take it and rub it on your skin like a lotion? Or do you add stuff to it? I have been reading about coconut oil (since reading your post) and have decided that I need to buy some like ASAP. Thanks for the tip!

Really? Does it even work for swimming?
Walmart even carries an organic brand and it lasts forever!

Just rub it on! Coconut oil has so many great uses! It is also my favorite single-ingredient, cloth diaper safe, booty cream! And shave lotion!

Really Walmart has it! I never thought to check there because I don't usually shop there. The health food store by me charges 25 dollars for a can! (That is why I have never bought it!) I have been reading about how good it is so I MUST find some!!
