Alternative to insecticide and issues with weed killer!!!! Help advise.
I am hesitant to have the guy spray (as we usually have done) because now I have an infant!!! Changes everything!!!
We've moved into a house a couple days ago (from an apt in downtown) and our landscape guys "spot" spray weed killer and even that makes me nervous. He mentioned something about just spraying the trees for fungus or something.
I'm learning and education myself but still pretty new to all of this and how I can go natural.
I know that bugs don't like garlic. So growing it in your yard..eating it .. will naturally keep them away from you but also applying lavender oil keeps them away.

Quoting RochelleFS:You can kill weeds by spraying them with vinegar. Works best in full sunlight.
Yes this works good for weeds!
Yes, it does!
I also use Diatomaceous Earth as an insecticide. It works mechanically, not chemically. Look it up and you can find out all about it.
Quoting RochelleFS:
This is the only weed killer I use now. works better than nasty chemicals.

I found an insecticide recipe. 1 qt water and 1 tsp castle soap. Got rid of my aphids :)
yep :) I bought a new one because I didn't want to risk it having vinegar in it and killing my plants :)
Quoting Hyman:
I have both! How does it work? Just spray out of a spray bottle around the house??
