My cloth diapers always get very stained. Is there anything you've used to help?

Also, carpet stains? Any ideas?

I make my own oxi clean. I have never used it on cloth diapers though.

Homemade oxi clean

1 cup water
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide
1/2 cup washing soda

Mix all ingredients together and store in a dark spray bottle.

Hydrogen peroxide even by itself works great for body stains in laundry, it even works on blood stains(this is what many fire departments use). I use Windex on my carpets(even the light ones) works better than any of the heavy duty stain removers...I haven't looked to see if there's a natural recipe for windex...

Maybe I'll just add peroxide...

I've tried sunning before, but I just don't have a great spot for it, and because I work, I miss the best sun :/

1 mom liked this
For "windex" I use vinegar, water, and rubbing alcohol.

I do think I'll try the peroxide.
