So I thought I had our workshop schedule for school all figured out right?
Wednesdays- akido, show and tell, story time, hands on science
basically Monday we would still do schoolwork at home but Wednesdays would be pretty much all on campus.
Well, I just went on to check the times for story time and show and tell. show and tell is gone! So now we have pottery Mondays 10:30-12 and then Wednesdays akido 9-10, story time 12:30-1, and hands on science 1-2. Yeah, nice 2 1/2 hour gap there. We would probably head over to my SIL's house who lives nearby to do our school work for the day in the gap.
Then I glanced at Thursday's schedule. They just added lego robotics for kindergartners! My little guy is a lego-a-holic. It's 15 miles to the school and I HATE being tied down and not able to go anywhere. Lego robotics is from 2-4 so I can't just go somewhere after or something. Wednesdays aren't a big deal because we have to be at church at 3:30 so they are already shot. I just hate to add in a 3rd day in there.
So now do I give him the choice of switching to legos from pottery? Do I leave it the way it is? A lot of times we end up doing things on Thursdays but I guess that could move to Fridays. We would be able to do all of our school work in the morning then go there in the afternoon. And watercolor is once a month on Thursdays anyways.
Why can't pottery be on Wednesdays or Thursdays? Grr... decisions decisions!
Any thoughts? He really wanted to take pottery, akido (better than me paying for kung fu!), hands on science, and legos when he was old enough (they just put the lower class in). I don't want to overdo it though!
