Is the good ole fashioned arm and hammer ok to use in food and such?  I've always used it but was just wondering.

I would do some research about it's use in food. Be careful about brushing your teeth with it as it can damage your enamel, and besides using it to absorb smells, there are better natural cleaners at good prices. I show you the brand that I use if you want.

Most of my recipes call for baking soda, and I believe that baking powder is a mix of baking soda and cream of tartar, along with a few other ingredients.
