Glads bearing the cold.

I'm not really familiar with growing flowers. Last year, my mom gave me some glads. I planted them, they all bloomed and were healthy. . . I had no idea I was suppose to actually take them out of the ground over winter. LOL. So they got left there. It's been a regular winter here in Minnesota. There have been some -20 degree days, but not a ton of them. We've had good snow cover and where they are planted is right next to the dryer vent, so it's warmer there. Plus, I did mulch as I've got preannuals planted in the same flower bed.

Are my glads dead?
