When it comes to buying and applying products, do you know your skin type to be able to choose what's right for you?

The importance of knowing your skin type and using products accordingly affects how flawless of a finish you have with foundations, makeup, etc.

It can also prevent skin reactions & breakouts caused by using the wrong products.

Oil slick!  Although I've been told it will help my skin age well.

Since baby's have sensitive skin and their pores aren't open until a certain stage it's formulated with that in mind. Although it's important to remember our facial skin is different than the skin in the rest of our body, it is best to use products specifically for facial use.
But hey, if it's working for you, that's great! Keep it simple ;-)

how does johnson johnson baby lotion stack up? It's the only thing I've found that doesn't make me break out and leaves my skin moisturized... I stick with it because that's the easiest.

Quoting MamisAngels:

Even with combination it's important to cleanse & moisturize, but don't overdo either.

Washing too much will cause your oil glands to produce more oil. Moisturizing is important because oil and moisture are different. Don't apply so much moisturizer that it clogs your pores, and choose one made for oily skin, it will be lighter/thinner than others.

I have combination. Whatre you supposed to do about that?

Yes it will, the oil will keep the skin naturally younger looking. :-)

Usually in the summer it's oily, and in the winter it's combination... but mostly oily lol. I don't really mind the oil because I feel like it keeps my face hydrated and I wont get wrinkles so fast lol.

That's true! The oil our skin produces naturally helps slow the aging process some.
I too find my face more oily in summer and combination in winter.
But I don't mind it either. I'm always told I look younger than what I am. I'll take that any day. ;-)
