Has anyone ever tried the YSL eyeshadows?? I bought a new set of 5 colours, blues, not sure if it is as pigmented as I would like...

I like most of their products, and usually the shadows are well pigmented.  But those 5 color compacts are not inexpensive, and if you're not happy, I'd return.

Exactly...

I'm wondering what I can do to help the colour be darker...I heard you can use them wet??

I forgot to bring my eye primer with me on vacation...I just have the primer that I would use on my face :(

yes, they can be used wet... it makes them darker and last longer, but sometimes harder to blend.  almost facial primers can be used on eyes as well.

You can use regular lotion/moisturizer as an eyeshadow primer in a pinch. I would suggest something unscented, though.

just get your brushes wet and make a kind of paste of the shadow.  once it dries, you can blend it better.  again, I'd use whatever primer you have on hand as a shadow primer. :)

Ok I will definitely give it a try! It doesn't ruin the shadows, using the wet brushes?

I'm going to use the face primer:)
