This nail polish will set you back $250,000

It does contain 267 carats of black diamonds, but honestly, I'd prefer those carats in the form of a ring!

It is... until you think of it as a publicity exercise to get their name out there. And if there's someone who does buy it, it'll be another opportunity to come out with a new press release. It's like those diamond encrusted bras or shoes they come out at the end of the year.

Quoting Vicariously:

I saw an article on this polish.. So REDICULOUS!

Very true... Still makes me shudder to think that anyone with that kind of money would spend it on a single nail polish. I'm not one to care about what other people do, but $250k could go a long way to help a better cause. Of any kind... KWIM? It's just such a waste.

What a waste....  Imagine you could buy a nice house for that... Crazy...

I think that most people would think this way, too - and only the very gullible or the very insecure will even think of buying it. It isn't worth that kind of money anyways.

A waste of money! I sure hope those aren't (blood) diamond chips in that polish!

Wasting money that badly over something so inconsequential literally makes me sick. If I had that kind of money to throw away I would but look alike polish if I liked it so much (no one would ever ever know the difference by looking at it) and I would donate the money to help people and animals in need and who are suffering, SERIOUSLY!

I can understand treating oneself to occasional splurges but this is ridiculous!

I agree and good point

I agree, it's a great publicity for them.

Quoting kika.fleur:

It's a bit of that, but a kind of brilliant if it was all for publicity. By now a few million people would have heard of Azature.

Quoting hiba84:

That's crazy!

Quoting kika.fleur:

I'd rather get a diamond set ;-)

Quoting Chillisarah:

I would rather spend that money on something better but the idea is kinda cool.

absolutely :-)
