Getting my hair done tomorrow

I am getting my hair cut and highlighted tomorrow.  I always feel like I want a change but never know what to do.  I always end up with the same thing.

I am tring to grow it out.  I had been going to the same stylist for years and the last three cute I got from her were just horrible so I ended it up switching.  I had to get a ton cut off because she had put so many crazy layers in that there was almost a gap in my hair.  It is hard to explain without showing a pic. I am trying to let the layers grow out.
