This is Essie's Clambake Velvet Voyage ? and I love it! I'm going to be wearing it a lot this fall. The best part? I got it for $3! THEN, I had the color on and saw Essie's Luxeffects polishes at Wally World yesterday. I was thinking about LM's NOTD not too long ago and decided to buy 'As Gold as it Gets' to put over it.
It's pretty frickin awesome! The combo screams fall and I officially have my 1st glitter polish! Unfortunately, I don't have any pic's. Here are a few that look very similar. I guess great minds really do think alike... lol Gold as it Gets over dark brown base.
I'm going to have to try it over Essie's Little Brown Dress ASAP! It's a brown so dark that it almost seems black. I think the gold will pop even more. (I think I love glitter? lol)
I kinda figured that, but it's ok. The combo will still look good, just not as fall'ish as I was hoping. Maybe it's too early for fall colors. I asked my friend who works in cosmetics at Walgreens and she showed me the colors that were labled for fall and they were definitely not my idea of fall colors, lol.

Velvet Voyage has a purple tint (LOVE that color!) and the one I used has a red hint, but it's mostly brown. I have little brown dress, and it's a shade lighter with some red.... HUUUM.. I'm still trying to find it. I think velvet Voyage will look stunning with the gold over it! I tested a few combos last night and the purples looked the best.

After seeing her photos I don't think it is that either. Maybe it is Rock Star Skinny.

I really have no idea. I looked up Rock Star Skinny and it's too red. I'm thinking it could be Lady Godiva? Or it's a lighter variation of little brown dress, but then why would it have the a red hint? IDK, nothing I can find matches it. I'll try posting on MUA's nail board.
