I'm pretty brand loyal to my soap. I like a clean fresh scent in a moisturizing bar.

I like to buy soap that smells good and makes my skin feel soft.

I buy bar soap that is not drying and has a nice scent.

I usually base my decision on how well the soap works and price.

I buy my bar soap based on the price and the smell. Also it is important if the soap dries me out or makes me itch so something simple is the best.

Usually Price, smell, moisturizing factor are what I look for in a bar of soap. I actually prefer Dove over many of the other bars out there.

The single most important thing for me is that the soap be compatible with my sensitive skin. I have used soap before that left burn type marks on my skin. I prefer to use soap that smells pleasant. Price does factor some into my decision, but if a soap meets the criteria I am willing to pay a little more.

Mine has to be moisturizing and mild. I have sensitive dry skin.

Simple, pure ingredients.  I use goats milk soap, unscented.
