Nails: Natural or Acrylic?

Which do you have/prefer?  How often do you get them done professionally?

Natural and I do my nails myself.  I have a huge polish collection and paint my nails every 2-3 days.  I have never had them done professionally.

I don't even have pretty nails.  lol  I do polish my toes from time to time but I'm bad about picking at my finger nails.  I've done it all my life so I doubt it will change now.  lol

I bit my nails like crazy until college!  Then my sophomore year, I got tired of having sore fingers and ugly nubs so I somehow summoned the willpower to quit and haven't done it since.  But I feel you, I never painted my nails or brought attention to them when they were short.

Natural. Fingers are done weekly, and toes are done bi-weekly. I was doing gel manicures, and they made my nails very thin. They would break constantly. So now it's just a normal manicure. This is at a nail salon, not doing them myself.

natural. The only time I get them done professionally is when I am pregnant and can't do them myself (smells)
