I am looking at MAC foundation primer since I use MAC foundation but i'm wondering if there's a similar but cheaper brand primer that works well.

Anyone here use face primer?

I use various brands. What's your skin type, skin condition and what do you expect from it? Are you looking for something to cover pores, color correct, smooth out your skin...?

I use a few. I like Makeup Forever HD primer because it's light, but still sets the skin for foundation application.

Sometimes I feel like primer puts this waxy coating over my skin and it feels kind of gross. Like for example I really hate Too Faced primed and poreless, I feel like it's too heavy, espcially if you are using full coverage foundation.

I also like Lancome's La base primer. It makes foundation application really smooth and even and you use less product, but I don't think it's good for oily skin - I only use that one in winter.

I would go out and get some samples! Always a good way to pick your poison =)

Okay, I'm cheap...lol...I use Hard Candy's Illuminating Correcting Primer or Almay's Correcting Primer. Love them both.
