How damaging is it to blow dry your hair on cool/warm heat while trying to grow it out?

I haven't used one in a long time but its the only way I can get my hair to look decent without using my flat iron lol. But I'm trying to grow it out so idk...

I didn't think it would be bad for your hair growth...maybe bad for your hair health though! I only blow dry when I am going out somewhere I need to dress up.

I blow dry my hair everyday and my hair grows really fast.  I do use conditioners and a heat protection spray also to help with the heat damage.  My hair is pretty healthy but I also get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks.

If you use a heat protection spray, make sure that when you blow dry your hair it isn't dripping wet but you've towel dried (or better yet, let it dry a bit first), don't use extreme heat and too close to your hair, use conditioner, doo deep conditioning on a regular basis, you should be okay.

I would use a heat spray before you use your blow dryer or flat iron.

I don't know.  I don't think it's as bad if you're not using high heat.
