How the heck do I do this without drying the crap out of my lips!? Liner rips appart my lips and using setting powder drys them out super fast!

I'm phasing out lipgloss this spring/summer (lol) and I need tips!

I do what my mom told me to do when I first started with lipstick. One coat, blot with tissue, then another coat. It lasts about 4 hours this way for me.

You have lip primers. The method ae86mommy uses also works. You can also switch to long-wear lipsticks or use lip stains.

I used a lip primer by TooFaced and all it did was add this horrible waxy coat to my lips that made them dry out and peel more.

Any reccomendations for a decent lip primer?

I don't use lip primer. Look up reviews and see what people have said.

At the end of the day it's all about how it works for you and that's trial and error. I saw that on a few sites that reviews and ratings for a BB Creme by Too Faced was very varied. Some people gave it a 1 star other 4. I personally love it. It didn't work for those who gave it 1 star but it works for me.

Good luck!
