1 mom liked this

I do, but it's more about parenting in general than unschooling specifically (which, it turns out, is also how I felt about my kids' growing up/education)...

I do have a blog but haven't written since the Spring (shame on me!). Once we start our year after Labor Day it's my goal to write more often than before. You can find me at http://mamato3crazykids.blogspot.com/

YOUR BLOG IS AWESOME!!!! you are a very wise mom. I feel incredibly greatful to have you as part of the group. I really liked the post "2.1 choices. Thinking about parenting styles." It really helped me out. I've been very inconsistent in the area of children and ownership, and sharing. It's been a battle, and I appreciate your words of wisdom. You may have just solved my sharing problems. Also the post "hover parent" loved it.

off to the side you have a phone number and it says to call raising parents for quick effective fixes for everyday parenting problems.....could you, for the group, expand on that. How exactly does that work, what is that service?

Loved it...keep writting about your experiences, it's good!!! We live so close to each other and might be the only unschoolers in the area, I suspect this to be the case, it being such a conservative tightly wound community we live in, but I'm here for ya. We'll have to do lunch sometime , I love Johny Carinos....which incidentally is where I am having lunch tomorrow with my best friend who homeschools her 7 kids.

So the picture of the turtle on the rocks....funny. I didn't know what it was at first glance, and I thought..."what kind of wierd soup did she make." I'm glad it's not turtle soup...lol

I am a parenting coach... I support parents over the phone, particularly great parents who are struggling over some issue. Typically, the coaching relationships last about 4 months. Sometimes longer, for big transitions or long-standing difficulties... often shorter, just one or two sessions.

I don't do crisis counseling, because I'm so much more interested in fine-tuning excellence than rescuing people from the mess.

The first hour is free, and the rest is $100/hr (billed in 15mins) US or Canadian. I take paypal and cheques.

Any other questions?
