ORLANDO --
For one day only, Panera Bread is selling a special bagel to help support foster children in Central Florida.
On Friday, Panera is selling a version of its blueberry bagel shaped in a ribbon. The chain will donate 100 percent of the proceeds of this bagel to Foundation for Foster Children.
In addition, Panera is promising to match donations to support a new scholarship. This scholarship would be for a therapeutic riding program for foster kids with special needs.
The owners of the Covelli Enterprises Panera Bread locations throughout Central Florida have donated nearly $400,000 to Central Florida charitable organizations in the last year.
