My business partner and I are opening community centers-going to start where we live but want to grow them-We have a lot of people, professionals, businesses, and agencies in place.  We have a working document for a business plan.  We are working on the financial piece.  We are working on purchasing a building.  This will be a guidance, education, and training center for all ages for individuals and families.  There is much more to this.  Just wondered any tips and advice in this endeavor we have been working on?

What a great idea!

I have no tips, except to expect to work really, really hard. Keeping it clean and in good repair will take up at LOT more time than you think.

I will not run it--I am co-owner and we will find someone to run it but yes it will take work and has taken work to get this far!  Thank you though for the advice--I want any at this time-

In that case, I would very strongly suggest that you wildly over-estimate the costs of upkeep and care.

If it doesn't stay clean and fresh, it will rapidly become undesirable.
