Okay, I'm officially homesick.

I guess I did pretty well, we've been here almost three weeks and I haven't missed anything too much. 

But last night I had a table that looked just like my little sister, and now, I swear someone is making pasties in my neighborhood. I just want to go to the diner at home so badly and have a pasty and hang out with my kid sister and my daughter. 

I miss my little girl. :(

We are in Colorado Springs, and yes, it is GORGEOUS here.  We had plans to go out today and enjoy it, but dh's friend who is also moving out here broke down in Kansas with his pregnant girlfriend and a lot of cats. I was back at home and wallowing in like two minutes.

The place I like best so far is Garden of the Gods.

I don't think I've been in that area... the High Desert is where my fil lives... my sister lived in Telluride for a while.

OP I hope that you are able to get used to Colorado and that August will get here before you know it so your little girl will be home.
