 Last night a man came to our door.He had papers.They were court papers to go to court next month on our foreclosure.We recieved papers the other day for modification.I guess that isnt going to happen. Im so scared!!!!!!!!

 Thank-you.I have no idea where we will go.We dont have the money.I am trying to sell things now just to get food.I was told that when you go to court and they say they are going to foreclose that you usually have up to 3 months before you have to be out.

Is there a local church you can go to for help? My BIL had a tenant once who had a church pay his rent like five times.

 No.I have tried.I also tried catholic charities.The churches here give some food.I went yesterday and recieved  a baggie of rice, a can of tuna,rasin bran cereal and toothepaste

I am so sorry. That is why I am so afraid to try and buy. I would rather continue to rent. Right now I am trying to work with my landlady to relocate us to a slightly safer area just so we don't have to pay a deposit. We cannot afford to save up for it. We are barely squeaking by paycheck to paycheck.

Call your bank lender - there are different departments for modifications and foreclosure and they often don't communicate with each other. I see it all the time in real estate - we have an approved short sale and then right before closing the house is sold at auction because the departments didn't communicate.
