It depends on the assignment. This yr, not so much since I will be the teacher as well. Pete will have to step up to the plate and help with homework.

 We actually enrolled DS (2nd grade) in an after-school program 3 days a week. It is at the salvation army- they pick the kids up from school, feed them snack, have them do their homework, play in the gym, and sometimes even do bible stories. This is $15 a week and works great because I don't get off work until 430 and can pick him up after that. Tuesdays and Thursdays he has football practice so my dad picks him up and DH helps him on his homework. I do read with him or cook while he does school work.

I am not good with math so he has to get dad to help him.
