Heroic 14-year-old Pakistani girl miraculously recovers from being shot point-blank in the head by a Taliban monster trying to silence her.
Malala Yousafzai yesterday was able to stand with help for the first time — and can read and write, according to British doctors. She escaped certain death by a matter of inches — and might make “pretty much a full recovery,” said Dr. Dave Rosser, medical director of Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
“She is not out of the woods yet,” he added. “Having said that, she’s doing very well. In fact, she was standing with some help for the first time this morning when I went in to see her.”
