My name is Dusty Dawn. I am a mother to three wonderful boys ages 11, 8 (will be 9 in April), & a 4 month old. My boyfriend and I are relocating our family to Bismarck this month for work purposes. I am a stay at home mom that runs her own business's ( or is trying to if this economy would let me, lol) and helps out with my boyfriends business as well. My boyfriend owns his own remodeling construction business and Bismarck is the place to be right now for work. I am a stay at home mom with our youngest son. I do some babysitting on the side to meet moms and give our little one some company beside mommy. We love the outdoors and hanging out with family and friends. Though we are leaving all that behind in Montana and starting a new adventure. We are looking to make friends for our whole family out here is Bismarck/Mandan area.
Hi! I'm Crystal. I'm a mom to three kids. My boys are 5 and 2 and our baby girl is 5 months! We live in Dickinson, but are from Idaho. We miss our mountains, but we're really enjoying ND too! My husband is a heavy equipment operator (basically, plays in the dirt on a big tractor all day!) and i stay at home with the kids, but i'm in the process of starting a cupcake shop soon! When DH isn't working, we're outdoors doing something fun!
Hi Crystal. Nice to meet you and you family. Yes we are going to miss our mountains as well. But I did enjoy Bismarck for the short period I was visiting and my boyfriend likes it out there as well. So its a new adventure for both of us and its cool that we are doing it together and starting our own life and family. So it's all pretty exciting but scarey and a bit fustrating all at the same time. Wishing our house in Montana would hurry up and sell so I can get out there with my man. :) But for sure will be out there by Oct 1st since the doctors there want to do my c-section on the 7th of Oct and my meeting/prenatal appointment with my doctor out there is on the 3rd. So I got alot of things running in all different directions right now. I own (or trying to start up) my own bookkeeping/payroll business. I am also a Independent Consultant for Mia Bell Gourmet Candles and Products. Outdoors is our speciality as well. :) Dickinson isn't that far away from Bismarck. :)
Wow you really do have a lot going on! We were kinda in the same boat with moving and our last baby. My husband has been up here since last November, but i wanted to have the baby at the hospital in Utah that i love. So i waited to move til after she was born. We moved when she was six days old!
We're hoping our house in Idaho sells soon too. We have renters to offset the mortgage payment, but it would still be nice to sell it!
Bismarck definitely isn't that far away, so when you get moved out here and settled in we'll have to get together!
Yes is it alot going on for sure. We would love to have our little man in the Bozeman Hospital but I am not going any more with him there and us here. Its to hard on me physicaly and emotionaly. Needless to say I am over it. Lol. So depending on how things go I am hoping to be in Bismarck by the end of this month even if its staying in a hotel for a few weeks. I am hoping our house sells this week. Thats nice to have renters to help with the mortage payment and what not. Yes I for sure. Hope you had a great weekend Crystal!

Neil owns Toman Computer Consulting and provides network services and computer repair for homes and small businesses. We have three boys, 6, 4, and 3, and a little girl 17 months. We homeschool, and spend a lot of time with our kids. We love to travel within ND, but we'd love to head somewhere warm in the winter. That's a dream we haven't yet realized, however, so we are doing our best to enjoy the beginning of our ND winter!

Is you business doing with even with economy low these days (although North Dakota doesn't seem to be low on the economy scale compared to most states)? Nice I bet your husband stays business with his business. I as well have three boys, 11, 8, and almost 2 months. This will be our first winter in North Dakota but we are from Montana and we as well have cold winters. I am hoping that my boyfriends construction business stays busy and does well for us out here. As for mine I am hoping I can find some that love candles and mineral makeup and love doing parties, but I havn't got into much since I just a had a baby and all and we don't know very many people out here.

I'm Samm, 20 years old, and I have an 8 month old son named Kaiden Ryder. I've lived in ND my whole life (minus a year in NC when I was a baby and my dad was stationed at Camp LeJeune). I have lived in Bismarck most of my life but there was a period of about 5 years I lived in South Heart. I am back in Bismarck now though, working at HIT in Mandan and going to BSC for Human Services. Kaiden's father and I got engaged.. Mm, that's about it! :)

My sons are Chandler he is 11 and in 5th grade, Clayton he is 8 will be in 9 in April and is in 3rd grade, and my baby is Damyon he just turned 4 months yesterday. Where is Hettinger, ND? Thats nice you get to stay home with you kiddos. Nothing is funner and more enjoyable than whatching your kids grow up day after day. I am currantly a stay at home mom as well though I do babysit part-time during the week days. What do you and your family like to do for fun?

Wow you got a busy schedule with your little man, working, and going to school. Good for you! I am currantly a stay at home mom, though I do some babysitting part-time during the week.
