I am very interested in this. What happened.  How old is she?  Was she upset about something?

Poor dear. Was she awake, awake. Jeremiah used to do it too. But he really wasn't awake, he was sleep-walking, would have a nightmare/night terror, then would fall back to sleep. Hope she had a good day after that.

She woke up and called for me. I went in there and she had her tantrum, then she laid down and went back to sleep.  May have been not really awake.  After she woke back up she was in a pretty good mood.

My daughter does this. She will walk around, speak, have her eyes open, but she is not awake. They are likely night terrors. When my daughter was 18 mos to about 3 she would actually punch me in the face and claw at my eyes. It was crazy. Thanksfully after she turned three those ones stopped, but she still sleepwalks, cries, and yells for me. Poor kiddos.
