Was reading an interesting blog a while ago and it brought up a good question:
When you are out and about and suddenly something happens to you; example: You spill latte all over you new pants.
Does it continue to effect the rest of your day? Do you say, "Oh great, this has just ruined my day? What do you do?

Need some Time for You? Feeling stressed? Kick back, relax & take a break. If you're a woman who just wants to have fun, here's the place :)
Well it could depending where I messed up, LOL
Or if I was going home after then maybe not so bad, LOL
I think it would depend on the circumstances. If I had something important just after that, I might get very stressed out. If not, I'd wipe it dry and probably go home to change.
Would it ruin my day? Probably not unless I get so excited that I can't calm down. At the end of the day it's just latte, and it's just a pair of pants.
BTW, I was wearing a new pair of pants the other day to a TTT session that I was conducting. And what did I do? Got some food on my pants when we took a break for lunch. Luckily it was a dark colour, so no one could really tell. Even if I had worn white trousers, the TTT was far more important than a stain so I couldn't let that ruin anything.

I try not to let small things affect my whole day
Depends on what exactly happened. Sometimes I just laugh it off. Always makes for a funny story throughout the day. But I am usually silly like that...I just don't care.
something like that happened to me in late March, someone spilled red wine on me.
I had worn dark clothes, so it did not show that much.
I heard of a good advice and always remember to do it when eating out.
I just continued with dinner and did not make a fuss. The person who spilled the wine was very sorry and
I accepted the apologizing .
If I did spill something on me, I know it would not affect me that much. I do not wear light colored clothes too much, because light colors attract spots or stains, etc.
Please share: What was the good advice?

Please share: What was the good advice? I heard it on the radio . John Madden used to be coach to the Raiders. He always wears dark clothes when travelling or eating out, because of accidental spilling or dropping of food and drinks. I never forgot that and always made use of it. Sure enough dark clothes for dinner or travelling works for me.

I know there are a lot of variables that come into play here. As many said...depends.
As a "mature" female, I have gotten to where I just keep my napkin up to my chest, each time I take a bite! Also keep my plate further away from me than where it is usually placed. I just have full boobs, that are always in the way it seems. Almost like my own little(?) shelf or catch all!
I was recently watching a show on the food network, where a restaurant owner was talking about the proper way to eat his famous sandwich. This sandwich is very juicy! Seems the proper way is to stand (Chicago) when eating it. He told the host to take a couple steps back from the counter, lean in on the elbows, then take a bite. Any drippings will drop past your shirt and onto the floor in front of you! Cool.
Honestly, if I don't have a change option, it could frustrate me for quite a while. I don't have a lot of "good" clothes, thus one reason why.
