yes I enjoy spicey foods. However, if they are very hot and spicy, the rest of the flavors in the dish are over rided??? (if there is such a word). Anyway, most of the spicy flavors that I enjoy are in the Asian category, such as Curry Chicken, General Tso(?) chicken, etc. I like some chipotle but not alot. Most of the spicy Mexican dishes are just too hot for me. But I love the other Mexican flavors.
I kind of knew that and thought of you when I started the thread, LOL!

Oh, I love cayenne. What do you make or like that uses cayenne peppers?

As you said, there's spicy and there's spicyas there are different ways to use the spices as well as the chilis. For a long time my stomach just couldn't digest spicy Indian foods, even though Indonesian cuisine uses a lot of the same spices and we have hot and spicy dishes, too. But it's a different kind of spicy. Have you ever tried Thai food? That's also spicy but with a nice tang that's refreshing.
I also love Mexican. Yum!

Medium spicy is nice.
I've never had Mongolian Beef, but we do have Mongolian BBQ here though I have no idea if it's really Mongolian or not LOL! I also like kimchee a lot, too.
