If I breast feed and formula feed as well as pump what are my chances of my milks supply decreasing? I was straight up breast feeding but the pedi wants me to formula feed as well and I pump so my SO can feed the baby as well (that just started today)

why formula feed? time and again studies have shown that breastmilk is superior to formula...you should BF more, and cut down on the formula...how old is your child?

He is 2weeks ppd will be 3weeks on wednesday I'm sorry I should've been clearer his Dr wants me to give him a scoop of formula to my breast milk cause she says he is underweight and wants him to gain weight... So I do that twice a day and the rest is straight breastmilk I just dnt want to dry up I love that I can provide the best nourishment for him
