Rachel's play opens this weekend and due to how busy we are, I didn't even think to try and ask off. But yesterday, before I went into work, I asked Rachel if she thought the director would let me sit in... the answer this morning was "yes".

I wasn't really doing anything tonight and DH was working out of state so I figured why not.. and the theatre is halfway between us.

I am glad the director let me sit in..it was cute, funny and entertaining. It is a children's show..with lines for the adults.

Also written with kids celebrities of today, mentioned..so it keeps their attention.

Not only a positive influence but exposure to the arts, be it music, theatre or dance. Many parents and schools today do not find value in having their child have an opportunity to experience them and decide what they like.

Both my girls were exposed to each one, some through school, some as a family outting... and Rachel decided that theatre was very important to her.
