Welcome new Decorators

My name is Tina, I live in The Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I have a son, Parker who is my life. We like to go camping, go to the beach, watch movies, and any other outdoor activity we can participate in.

I love to decorate my house. It makes me feel good when someone says "wow your house is so cute." My friends also always ask me to come and help them with their houses too.. I just think its funny. I just like to be creative and try different things and come up with new ideas.

HI, my name is Elizabeth and Im 42. I live in Missouri, have been married 24 years and have 2 grown kids.  My house was built in 1903....although its not a victorian style home, I love the victorian style of decorating.  My house is actually more of a farmhouse type house.  I love to decorate, am always rearranging furniture, repainting rooms and trying to do anything I can to make my house more like I want it. Cant wait to see ideas and tips in here.

Hey!  I am 36 years old and I have two teenage daughters who like to undo any decorating I ever do!  We have just bought a house that we are gutting and remodeling and I am very excited about it!  I am not the most creative person in the world but I have just joined an business that sells home accents and they are so adorable! I told my hubby that I didn't care if I made any money or not with this business, I just want to sell all of my old stuff and buy everything from myself (since I get a discount) and redo everything!  I'm looking forward to chatting with you all!

My name is Laura.  I am actually a Home Interiors consultant and would love to share decorating trends and tips with you as I learn them!  My decorating style is definitely a mixture of Rustic, Contemporary, and Classic.  My favorite room in my house is what I call my sunshine room.  I was pregnant when I picked out a burnt subtle orange for my downstairs bedroom/computer area.  I think I needed to feel happy at the time because my pregnancy was a little rough towards the end.  I am so glad that I picked that color, though!  It makes me think of sunny, beachy things and always lifts my mood!  I can't wait to learn more about decorating and to share with you what I learn from Home Interiors:)

I just joined moments ago!  Glad to be here.  I am 50 years old with two daughters, ages 22 and 19 and dh and I are also raising his grandson who is 8.  I'm starting all over again!!  Anyway, I currently live in a house that we rent (the 2nd and 3rd floor).  Because we don't own the house, I'm limited on decorating.  Can't paint or recarpet--although it needs it.  So, most of my decorating needs will be ideas on accessories!  Any help is greatly appreciated!!  One of these days I'll share photos.  I'd love to see what you ladies have done in your own homes.  I did own a house for 13 years which we just sold 6 months ago.  I miss it.  It just needed more and more work that we couldn't keep up with or didn't have the money for.

Hello! My name is Chelsea, and am really glad to have found this group as I love to decorate and redecorate my home! I am married to a truly wonderful man who works very hard so I can be home! We have 4 kids: our son Patrick who is 20 years old and has moved out (though we still have a room ready for him), our daughter Kelsi who is about to turn 16 and has helped with the redecoration of her room twice in the past 5 years!, our daughter Erin who was born with some medical problems and passed away 2 years ago, but is very much still a part of our home and our newest daughter Riley who will be 6 months old this week!

My favorite rooms to decorate are the bedrooms. I love creating a space for my family that is their very own! look forward to sharing pictures of some of my rooms and seeing some of yours!
