One of our friends asked me if we could have a praise thread.  So here it is.  Use this to lift up His name for the wonderful things, big and small, that God is doing in your life and the lives of those around you.

Thank you Lord for providing for me daily.  I am so thankful that God choose me to be one of his believer.  My sister got a job and my brother and sister in law got a place.  Thank you God.  So many answers to prayers.

Thank you God for the wonderful, beautiful and healthy daughter you have given me. Thank you for letting me know that you are never far in my time of need. Lord, if it weren't for You i wouldn't be where I am today. You are great, Lord. I pray that you just continue to bless me and my daughter and get us through these really hard times.

Praise to you, Heavenly Father for helping my aunt along with guiding the work and the spirits of all who cared for her in the hospital after her recent minor stroke.

Through your grace, she is now out of the hospital and recovering at her home.  I ask for your continued vigilance over her as she continues her recovery.

Hi!
I have had to make some difficult choices in the last few months; all because of my daughter and I moving out of my Dads and into our own apt in 8/07.  Due to some bad choices my daughter made; and with the not so "choice" neighbors, I felt the best thing for her to do was to move back in with my Dad and Stepmom.  We no longer have a car(since Nov. 07,), and my folks have great neighbors!  My daughter is more structured there, since I have to work when I get the chance, Its been hard, but she is doing so much better in school now, and is staying out of the major trouble she's been in for some time.

I want to give thanks and praise to God for all of the wonderful things he is doing in my life. It has been a year since the kids last saw their father and it has been a year of peace and stability. For that I am thankful. Over the past year my son got baptized and has had a successful school year.  Not that he has ever been a difficult child, but to God be the glory. Also, God has blessed me to have the work done on my house that I have wanted to have done. The entire time the kids father was around I couldn't afford to get any of the work done that I wanted on the house. Since November last year I have been blessed to have siding, gutters, roofing and glass block windows put on the house. I know that was nothing but God's grace working in my favor. He made a way for me to pay for the windows outright - paid for. The other work got financed but he has blessed me to be able to make the payments. I know that when the time is right he will bless me to pay that work off, too. I am so thankful and grateful for the work that he is doing in my life and in the lives of my children.

Lord, thank you for giving me two wonderful boys to raise.  They are my heart and soul and I am so thankful you gave me these boys.  I am also thankful that you have even in the smallest way answered my prayers about my husband.  LADIES he is starting to call and send money and take care of his kids, he is even a bit chatty with me.  I continue to pray for him daily to stop drinking to find our wonderful Lord and Savior and for him to come back to his family.  But Lord thank you for everything you are doing to keep my smile on my face.

God Bless and Be Green!

Lord God, I praise you because you have pulled me out of a dark place and continue to give me challenges. I praise you for the healing of Alex's broken arm. I praise you for the love and being of both my sons. Thank you for mmy bed that I sleep in, the home that I live in, the job that I have, and the food on our table. Even for the little things like having movies to watch. I praise you for the smile on my face, for joy, and for happiness. It's yours. All I am and all I have is yours.

I have a praise report God has been doing so much in my life it is complicated to explain. He has really turned my way of thinking around and delivered me from a life time of fear. I still have an incredibly long way to go but I feel so free. I just cannot get enough of being in his presence. I could read the bible all day I can understand so much more now and I learn more every time I open it. My story is so long I can not share it all now. I just know that he is totaly in control and its okay to trust in Jesus.
