I don't think the elitest rich should pay the same tax rate as the middle class but I don't believe in taking from the rich and giving to the poor either.  That just reinforces the "everyone owes me something" attitude.

Good news, 4kidz916, no one believes in taking from the rich to give to the poor.  There is no reason why Mitt Romney should pay 13% of his income in taxes while a middle-class person pays more.  It's not about anyone being owed anything, it's about what is fair.  You shouldn't screw the poor and middle-class to give to the rich, either.

poor mitt. he's rich dammit and people don't like it.

ugh....he didn't break any laws. the middle class can enjoy alot of the same tax rates the wealthier do.

When we were considered middle class I paid 3-4% annually for  YEARS.

What about the middle class members that pay 0 tax? oh yeah, that's fair.

I don't see that said anywhere

It's ridiculous Romney and people that can afford a good tax attorney should pay in the teens...

Class warfare yes of course. Dictators always use the peoples pain to get ahead. They get richer as the poor stay poor.
You can see this around the world and in the history books.

We need to quit with the liberal/conservative thing and start looking more at the authoritarian/libertarian thing. We know which side you're on, no worries.

Nope.  His personal wealth is not something that people don't like, it's the way he, as well as some other wealthy people, have managed to find loopholes to avoid paying their share of taxes. Not the same thing at all.  Without the assistance of attorneys and accountants and money managers, I don't think the middle class can pay those tax rates, too.  Everyone should pay their share, that's all.

If he's not in jail for tax evasion, he's paid his legal and fair share.
