GOP pollster: âRun, Barack, Runâ sticker belongs on front bumper

Fox News contributor Frank Luntz on Monday made a suggestion about running over the nationâs first black president with his car.
Appearing at an event with Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum in West Michigan, the GOP pollster warmed up the audience with a few jokes. Video of the event was captured byThe Grand Rapids Press.
âI actually have a âRun, Barack, Runâ bumper sticker, but I put it on the front of my car,â Luntz said.
He told another joke about McDonaldâs âObama Happy Meal,â where you âorder anything you want and guy behind you has to pay for it.â
Luntz also poked fun at former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for living in Chappaqua, N.Y.
âDid you know that Chappaqua is Indian for separate bedrooms?â he asked the crowd.
Luntzâs wisecracks elicited laughs from the conservative crowd, but might not go over as well with other Americans.
In some parts of the country, people joke of a fictional racist game where players are awarded âpointsâ for running over minorities.
Update (2:00 p.m. ET): Raw Story commenter Michelle Black points out that âRun, N*gger, Runâ is a bumper sticker seen in some Southern states. There is also a Skillet Lickers song with that same title.

That's not very funny you can talk about how much you hate him but if you say you want to run him over with your car. You will lose my respect he does not deserve that kind of torture, I'm pretty sure if Newt or Santorum are the Gop's candidates Obama will win big time.
He made no reference to Obama's race. He spoke poorly and made a rude joke. But not racist.
Quoting QuinnMae:The title of this thread had 'Race Bait' written all over it.
And yet, I don't see it as a racist comment / joke. I don't get it (or perhaps I just don't find it funny), but I don't see it as racist.
