Michelle Obama is now stumping for children to convince their “grandparents” to vote for her husband.

Michelle Obama, who has quickly become the Obama campaign’s tip of the spear when it comes to fundraising and vote-getting, is now stumping for children to convince their “great-grandparents” to vote for her husband. At an event at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park – for which tickets cost at least $500 – Michelle said:

I mean, I can’t tell you in the last election how many grandparents I ran into who said, I wasn’t going to vote for Barack Obama until my grandson talked to me, until my great-grandson talked to me, and talked about the future he wanted for this country.

You can get out there with your parents. You guys can knock on doors. I had one young lady who brought me a petition — she’s already working. You can convince wrong people. Sometimes we don’t listen to ourselves, but we will listen to our children.

Don't be so naive.  They are doomed to vote for "pre-approved by the establishment" candidates, whether they be Democrat or Republican.

People who ignore history are doomed to vote republican

Not to be argumentative here, really, but there are some interesting links that can be drawn. "Links" I did not say similarities. I am simply pointing out that there are some real, historical and factual arguments that could be made about the links between the 2.

Many Liberals, including Joe Biden often compare Obama and his policies to FDR. It is also common knowledge that much of Hitler's propaganda and policies were fashioned after FDR's. In fact, the "Superior Race" drive of Hitler's and the Holocaust were based on and fashioned after FDR and his Eugenics policies here in the United States.

So, one could make the argument the Obama and Hitler are both students of FDR style policies and do in fact belong in the same sentence.

badPresident Obama and Hitler do not belong in the same sentence... Very disrespectful...

1) Do you mean Teddy Roosevelt who was POTUS from 1901 - 1909 or Franklin D. Roosevelt who was POTUS from 1933 - 1945?

2) You can give two people the same thing to read and please believe, you will hear two different interpretations. History has proven this time and time again.

3) President Obama and Hitler do not belong in the same sentence. Is President Obama talking about building a master race? Is he denouncing any of our citizens as inhuman. inferior? No!!... To try to find similarities between President Obama and of all monsters, Hitler, is very disrepectful, not only to him but also those who had to live and experience Hitler's philosophy for the world...

Who are these people who are great-grandparents that would change their whole political line of thinking because a child said they wanted a future where Obama's policies prevailed.  What a crock!  Total BS.  It is nothing more than an attempt to divert from an indoctrination of the young.

NO CHILDREN and their grandparents should never discuss politics or religion or topic that the children know little about.

Yes, let's keep kids ignorant and in our control forever.

Insert HEAVY sarcasm-

Yet the same people saying "no", would be the first ones sticking a political T shirt on a 5 year old, propping a sign in his hand and bringing him to a rally-

Since I am the one that brought up Hitler, I'll explain my comment further.  I said that this reminded me of the Hitler Youth.  Hitler wanted to control the minds of the children.  The Deutsches Jungvolk and then when they were older, Hitler Jugend (and the girls version Jungmadelbund and Bund Deutscher for the older girls). Hitler's goal was to indoctrinate the youth to his ideology early on and then have them go about being his spies and his mouthpieces to influence (and tattle) on those within their personal spheres.

THAT is what I meant with my comparison. (not Hitler's particular indoctrination propaganda.)  I believe Obama has his own propaganda that he'd love the youth to take up and spread around.

If kids truly knew the future they'd be getting they wouldn't have asked anyone to vote for Obama.

The left highly values the children.  They are the ones to brainwash to their agenda.

There is probably some truth to that, Obama has the real potential to be much, much worse.
