Obama was and is a skilled campaigner. He has said and will push numerous ideas in the next few months to undermine Romney's strong qualities. It may even be effective, but what happens next? What can Obama offer after campaigning is over? He failed to garner bipartisan reforms, and he hasn't yet seemed to learn from that.
Atleast with Romney we can rightfully expect fiscal knowledge, and with everything else Romney will gather experts around him as other presidents have done. Most of all, Romney can lead; he brought executive experience to the table in Massachusetts and was an effective bipartisan governor. Conservatives can expect Romney to be as fiscally conservative as possible. Liberals can count on Romney to consider the will of all Americans and to respect the rule of law. Independents can expect Romney to be pragmatic and thoroughly informed as he puts that pragmatism into action, using his experience to successfully lead.
Obama just does not have anything to offer Americans that Romney cannot do better.
