Are you 100% decided or are there things that could change who you will vote for between now and November?
Do you know the definition of a communist? I am asking seriously. Like do you know how the USSR worked and how Cuba, North Korea and pre-mid '90's China operate their goverment and economy?
Quoting asfriend:Doubtful,
Presbo's mother and father were Communists, his stepfather was a Communist, his mentor was a Communist. His Preacher was a Black Liberation Theologist. Best Friends with terrorist Bill Ayers.
I suppose little Barack just swept all that away and decided all those influences were wrong.
You can't make this stuff up.

That's why I couldn't help jumping in. To me, he is the definition of a moderate.

I know---there have been people running on the Communist Party in the past. The one I remember was Gus Hall who ran several times in the 20th Century. And Socialist too. Along with Independent Party, Green Party, etc.lots of unusual parties in addition. But I had to disagree with little miss Anti-Obama . You know she was referring to the President as a Communist. She has a lot to learn and a lot of growing up to do. My grandkids are more rational and knowledgeable.

You're right CPUSA does not have anyone running. I'm suprised actually. But the CPUSA is pretty much defunct as a party. SPUSA (the socialists) have Stewart Alexander running.

I am completely undecided.
Me too. I don't much like anyone who actually has a chance at winning.
I hear much more about why I shouldn't vote for some other guy than why I should vote for them, and, some of what I hear as touted as being a reason to vote for them I am against.
Sigh....
Normally I would have some level of agreement with that, but - Vote Romney he's not a Communist- is fairly compelling.NOBODY running for President in 2012 is a Communist.
My yard sign says it all: NOHOW, NOWAY, NOBAMA!
Know that you are one of a kind, and God doesn't make junk!
Quoting Citygirlk:im still deciding on either obama or gary johnson i'm just waiting for the debates and everything else that comes with the general election.
Just a heads up here ... Gary Johnson has not yet won the Libertarian Party Presidential nomination. The LP will nominate their candidate at their Convention the first week of May.
If Gary Johnson ends up not being the LP nominee, would you consider learning more about and possibly voting for the candidate the Libertarian Party does nominate?

I don't care for any of them - undecided.
Have you checked out any of the third party candidates?

Thanks for that reminder, I know, personally, that is on my list of things to do, right after I deduce the feasibility of going to the moon via rubber band power.

While my post was directed toward Della529 as she had expressed a lack of enthusiasm for the candidates and thus an indecision as to who she was supporting, I realize this is an open forum and everyone is free to comment on any of the posts.
That said, I am amazed at your willingness to admit your lack of open mindedness when it comes to learning more about third party candidates. Gaining information on those involved in the political process is never an inappropriate or wasted effort.

You will find no one more opened mind ( or pragmatic) than I.
Let's say that you are in a pool drowning, your friend wants to hand you a floatie, you are not sure about floaties. You tell her that you are very open minded about products that might save your life. You say, please hand me a piece of concrete. In her closed minded state she says the concrete won't help. You say, I am very open minded, hand me a brick. In her closed minded state she says, a brick will not help. You say I am very open minded, please hand me a piece of steel. In her closed minded state, she says a piece of steel will not help.
You drown. The end.
