Quoting PamR:

Please, post pictures of Mr. West and all his craziness.  It's good to give the GOP nutjobs as much publicity as possible.

Not really. I was disappointed in her. I remember watching her convention speech and thinking that picking her was a really smart move. Who knew she hadn't been properly vetted? Steve Schmidt should never work in politics again. His mishandling of the campaign, and Sarah Palin in particular, cost John McCain the election. And Romney's advisors may be losing it for him. They are completely mishandling the candidate.

Quoting imamomzilla:

 Big Sarah Palin fan, eh?

Quoting JakeandEmmasMom:

John McCain.

Quoting imamomzilla:

Who'd you vote for in '08?

Quoting JakeandEmmasMom:

Well, I've never voted for a Democrat...soooo...

I take each issue as it comes. I generally see right through spin since I'm constantly looking at things in terms of how I would spin them if I were running the campaign or lobbying for the issue. As a result, I have little use for the talking heads and don't rely on them to help shape my positions.

I will say, however, that I do feel that the party has left me. It's been a process over the last 5-10 years where it is moving in a direction that I don't like.

Quoting JakeandEmmasMom:

I'm a card-carrying Republican, but I keep getting called a liberal in here. LOL! What does that tell ya? ;-)

You can carry a Piggly Wiggly card, doesn't mean you shop there.

Which direction do you lean? I'd say most of the replies would indicate you are a liberal.

can of worms Had a feeling I was opening this can when I put that on the poll.  Now, you don't know that, she may just be a Liberal Dem.

OMFG- Now some are going to assign others a party.

I'm sure many would be shocked that from ages  18-45, I was a Republican and fairly conservative-

Yeah...it's a big freakin' mystery where all the nastiness in the group is coming from. If only we could figure it out...

A centrist, really. I am just about in the middle with some conservative views, and some liberal views
