I'll attach a link to his proposal, but part of it is scaling back government interference.  Free market works and encouraging the American public to "go for it" is what built America and is what will get it back on it's feet.

“We know the source of America’s strength. It is the citizens of this country, and all that a free people can achieve. Free, hard working, family oriented, risk taking, opportunity-seeking, patriotic American people have always been the source of our strength, and they always will be. And here in Washington, the best policies are those that expand their freedoms, broaden their opportunities, allow them to keep more of what they earn, afford them better education, let them choose their own healthcare, and turn loose the free enterprise system to create more jobs.” – Mitt Romney 9/19/09 at Values Voter Summit

Hw do you think Romney will create jobs of he is elected President? That is a serious question. I'm not posting any cartoons. I'm just wondering if he has given you an indication as to how he will create jobs, I might have missed something.......if so, refresh my memory.

I read Romney's proposal and it sounds good but it doesn't say HOW he will implement his plans. Its too general and too unreal.

He changes his mind way too often to be considered trustworthy, IMO-

If you do not like what  he's saying today, wait 3 months- it will change.

He is good at eliminating jobs- a proven track record.

Out of touch and worse than Obama, IMO.

Romney isn't the right color. I am a liberal and therefore I can only vote for black people.

End of story. President Obama 2012.

So you say...

Well he's got something up on Obama... he knows how to take a deficit and turn it around to a surplus AND he knows how to balance a budget... he did that every year he was governor.  Obama still is clueless on that.

As a Mass resident, i can attest to this being true.  What was left of any manufacturing is gone, and there are nothing but service industry jobs around here. So not only were the amount of jobs shrinking, but the quality of jobs as well.

Quoting sweet-a-kins:

Perhaps that’s why Romney doesn’t dwell on his record as governor. His state really was 47th in job creation, behind only Ohio and Michigan, both of which were being ravaged in the manufacturing meltdown, and Louisiana, which had been devastated by Katrina. Romney even trailed Mississippi and Alabama in job growth, breaking the iron law that Mississippi and Alabama have to be last in pretty much everything except cockfights and kissin’ cousins. While the country as a whole enjoyed 5 percent growth, Romney’s Massachusetts grew at 0.9 percent.

It wasn’t supposed to be that way. Romney sold himself to the voters as a turnaround artist—a CEO who could lure jobs to the Bay State. He pledged to use his business skills to “encourage businesses to come grow and thrive in the most robust portion of the economy, Massachusetts.” Not so much.

Romney’s economic failure in Massachusetts is especially problematic because the central premise of his presidential campaign is the same as it was when he ran for governor: that he can apply his business skills to our economic problems. Massachusetts was the guinea pig for Romney economics. The results weren’t pretty. In addition to almost zero job growth, the state saw a modest decline in real median income, meaning that the folks who had jobs were bringing home less.
