 That is so so sad. The words ....the signs they are holding....just so awful. So unfair and so cruel. Can you imagine...one girl's sign said her father tried to "beat it out of her". And another "My grandma sends me hate mail". It just makes me sick that there are people out there who are that cruel .It breaks  my  heart.

Everyone has a voice, and the more that use it, the better.

One of my saddest days as a mother was listening to my daughter describe a date she was on with her then girlfriend - the waitress noticed they were holding hands on occasion, and then ignored them and was very rude when they finally tried to get her attention.  Oh, then there's the time one of her supervisors called her a "dyke".

There's nothing that tears at a mother's heart like that.

The more people understand/embrace/practice the non-aggression principle (i.e. opposing the initiation of force and fraud) the sooner we can hope to be free of the damages created by actions taken based on hurtful/harmful prejudices.
