I'm baffled...
I've been at CM for 6+ years... never changed my sn...
What's up with that? I keep hearing of people changing their sn. One moderator here left a chatterbox message telling me of her changed sn the other day. Another post mentioned a changed sn.
Is it for hiding and coming in as a "fresh" person? Is it because you got kicked off of CM so you are reinventing yourself? Is it because someone had a big ol crush on you and kept following you around?
Oh.. I'll put a poll... but I would love some feedback. This concept is strange to me.

If I conduct myself like I would in real life then I should feel the need to go hide myself or reinvent myself. (I can't say I do wonderful all the time.. yesterday and today have not been my greatest moments online.. can I blame PMS or my DH "dinging" (as he called it) DENTING our door in on our car!)

I wonder why cm didn't make that feature available when they made CM? I know that before they moved us over here from Clubmom, you could change your screen name at will.. update it when you became a mom of more kids. You didn't have to contact any Clubmom team person to do it. It automatically changed ever past older posts. It was nice.
Nope, but after a reaction for one of my posts a couple months ago (?) I can see why some may. Some people on here have way too much time on their hands and way too long of memories. Now I know not to respond to a few people, but if I weren't such a quick study 
I can see how it could get out of hand. pming is out of line for attack purposes, IMO. Only positive stuff should go in pm. anything else is an atack and some here are great at it.
I left this site - put off by all the melodrama - and cancelled my account. Then I changed my mind and came back. They system wouldn't allow me to use my old name - which was margroc - so I had to come up with a new one. It's now margroc24. It's definitely not because I wanted to hide my identity as some members have claimed. I would hope if I chose to be devious I'd be a bit smarter than just adding 2 numbers to the end of my original name.
When certain people make references to screen names, I just tune them out. They are just trying to instigate trouble for their own amusement.
I just don't have the heart to deal with that level of immaturity anymore. Which is why I very rarely post in this group anymore.

LOL.. very true.
I have been on CM for 3.5 years.
I have never changed my name, had a "stalker", or even gotten any nasty pms or chatterbox messages.
