Yes, I research. It's important because sometimes the title of the prop is misleading compared to what you are actually voting for. I keep a notebook with the info about each initiative and then make a list of which way I'm going to vote on each one if there are a lot of them. I remember one election we had 17 initiatives.
Always do... I like to start with the blue book the state sends out. It gives a nice overview and the pros and cons.
Don't know.. do all states print out little booklets?
Oh and your last part about taking notes reminded me. I like to have my decison all written out on a "cheat sheet" so it doesn't take so long when I get the ballot in my hand.
I always do my research. I make my vote count.
I research them. We recently had one come up and the wording in it was very confusing without researching I would've voted the opposite of how I felt.
Always research. Sometimes I do not vote on certain props.
I research the ones I can. Sometimes there are many that I don't even know about until I am at the polls. If, I'm voting and one comes up that I don't understand or feel unqualified to vote for, I skip over those. This actually happens alot, because I rarely know enough about many of the 15 judges, or 7 college commissioners that are running.
