Romney was never my pick but lets get the facts straight now since the healthcare law has been pushed to the front again.

The left is pissing all over themselves to point out how Romney is being a hypocrite when he says he will move to repeal this horrible law.  Somehow they think that will ensure Americans think he is lying when he says he will act to repeal Obamacare.   What they leave out is the fact that MA health care was done under Romney as Gov of the state.

He has repeatedly admitted he thought it was good for that state while he was there. He believed it was a state issue and has stated that he STILL considers it a state issueHe is running for President and has no desire to implement a federal healthcare law as you would hear daily if you were to follow him around.  He IS in favor of getting rid of this debacle and replacing it with things that will actually work to lower costs and favor job growth.

I've said before, that this issue, whether in whole or in pieces will end up as state issues just like Romney (and many others)thinks they should if he is elected. How much so and what state you live in will determine inpart what your future healtcare looks like. Hopefully the congress (who should be making the laws)will adopt good measures so the liberal governors won't be able to ruin their state which costs everyone in the country money.

So liberals get over it.  This ruling has given Obamacare opponants much to run on and now that it is back in the limelight(much to your chagrin)  Alongside our faltering economy this will be what brings Obama down

Looks to me by your response that you may be one of the folks who likes to direct personal insults when you feel like you need help to make a point. LOL.

He thought it was a good idea then. Now he is hiding behind this argument. It is lame. Folks see through that. Get over it.

Looks like you are one of those that doesn't get the difference between federal and state . Read it again and educate yourself.

Quoting NWP:

Meh....It was only a good idea as long as it was his. It is a bad idea if it comes from Obama..More double talk from the master.

I don't like what Romney did in MA but I can see why he might have been able to do it in that state. Around Boston, for example, there is a huge number of indigent people living in shelters. If you walk around Cambridge, you will find homeless persons everywhere. They get food from various churches, and there are a lot of churches supplying this need.

When I lived there back in the 90s, I was curious as to why such a large homeless population. Someone told me that in the 80s, funding was withdrawn for some government programs that helped mentally sick people. Those people didn't have the funding and ended up on the street. So I imagine those people don't have health insurance and must be a drain on their system.

But I'm suspicious of Romney. Maybe he did this with a good heart, and maybe not. Maybe because this climate existed here, he knew the climate was ripe to convince more people to support him. Even though this was a state issue, it still seems antithetical to American values, to force people to buy something they either don't want and/or don't need.

Like most politicians, Romney is for states rights, only on the issues he agrees with.

Meh.

That's fine, you should be suspicious of the candidates.  But... you must not stoop to "believing" what you hear.  EVER.  Do your own research on both candidates. Check out Romneys website.  All of his plans for getting the country back on track are there.  Can we promise he can do them (or undo them all)  No. Of course not. We know there has never been a President who did everything they said they wanted too.

He's put it out there for all of the country to see.  The more people who hear what he says  the more will expect him to at least make a good faith effort to bring around his ideas.  I believe he will do just that. He'd be crazy not too.  I don't know if you would vote for Obama because you don't trust Romney but how many promises has Obama already broken. What % of his promises have been met?

Just curious,  2 things, your idea of what should be a state issue can be different from others.  Also,  just what is he for that he says shouldn't be a state issue?
