Factcheck says NO evidence Romney shipped jobs overseas
Ad our liar in chief would like us to believe.
To long to post

- The dual role of GE CEO Jeffrey R. Immelt- GE/Immelt stood to benefit from the administration’s aggressive development of green energy at the same time he advised the administration on job growth and global competitiveness.
- A Labor Department Inspector General report found that $7,140,782 in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds went to four Oregon forestry services firms who hired no U.S. workers. the report
- John Doerr- received over half a billion in grants and loans related to green technologies. Funny since, Doerr and his wife havedonated about $800,000 to Democrats since 2000. Plus what his firm has donated. Good Return on investment for Doerr and his wife. Bad financial move for taxpayers.
- $510 million in stimulus loans and grants to green-tech companies owned by Steve Westly. Interesting, seeing that Westly is a campaign money-bundler who reportedly raised over $500,000 for Obama. Obama and Corporate Cronyism
- A new solar plant in Blythe, Calif., received a $2.1 billion stimulus grant, awarded to a German firm, Solar Millennium.
- Obama Mortgage bailout. Failure Did it help Americans like planned? How much did that cost taxpayers?
- "I'm confident ... our 21st century investments will create jobs immediately," adding, "We've got shovel-ready projects all across the country." Barrack Obama
- Shovel Ready Jobs? No such thing. But what that phrase DID accomplish? Payoffs to special interest groups.
- Stimulus Money used on projects that created no jobs
- Obama's economic advisers promised the stimulus would keep the unemployment rate below 8 percent. They even went so far as to promise, In 2012, the unemployment rate would fall below 6 percent.
- President Obama. February 2009 Stimulus would lift "2 million Americans from poverty." Since Obama took office? 6.3 million Americans have fallen into poverty.
- Obama vowed his stimulus would create millions of jobs. The Energy Department has handed out $35.2 billion in stimulus money to jumpstart the clean/green energy industry, but it's created more red ink than green jobs. Across the US green technology accounts for barely 2 % of employment nationwide. Therehas been no marked profitable boom in the industry.Where has the boom occured? As Obama's big bundler campaign donors. How many green companies have been touted by Obama and his administration and how many have failed/gone bankrupt? Taxpayer money, wasted.
- Do you support ObamaCare? ObamaCare is full of special interest payoffs that do little for affordable care in america. But they help democrats, insurance companies, and prescription drug companies. From Excluding union members from the ObamaCare excise tax,
To cut a deal with the White House on overhauling health care, they needed to be sure that Obama would stop a proposal intended to bring down medicine prices. And quite a bit more. - Then there is the loose lips of the Obama Admin jeopardizing national security.
- Executive Priviledge? What was it candidate Obama said about Bush applying exec. priv? But President Obama, what does he DO? Actions speak louder than words.

I could care less what either do. Companies have to do what they can to be profitable. Romney/Bain took failing companies and set forth on an objective to make them profitable. They didn't do anything illegal. They did it under the name of profit and with programs put in place by democrats AND republicans.
Carter, Reagan, Obama, Clinton, Bush, etc set the path in place for the Romney's of the nation. This country wants cheap stuff. So outsourcing is the solution. Made in America doesn't sell. No matter how many hypocrites there are in this nation who claim they want to see more jobs in America, they continue to buy the cheap stuff from places like Wal Mart. Small scale. Larger scale? Many business Bain, Romney invested in.

Obama has proven he isn't presidential. He has lied. He has manipulated. He serves his agenda, and not the agenda for the Nation as a whole. He is far from a Leader.Oh yeah... then prove it... Please point out to me that President Obama has a different "agenda" than what is best for all Americans... Please prove to me where he has lied and about what... Please prove to me that he has acted in anyway that is not "Presidential"... I'm getting so tired of people quoting shit from fake ass mass emails (SPAM) and biased sources... Do you have any independent, unbiased sources that you can use to straighten my way of thinking out?...
By the way... (I almost forgot)... how do you feel about there essentially being very little difference between outsourcing and off-shoring?... Do you agree with the info I posted or do you dispute it.

Obama's minions will find a way to spin it. They can't handle the truth!
Absolutely. Obeyme lies so much, I wouldn't believe him if his tongue was notarized!

Clinton and Gore played a key, integral part in outsourcing, off shoring, etc.
As did Bush, and Obama, their respective admin's. Nearly All past presidents in the last 25 years + own responsibility for their policies/role.
They did it and are dong it under the name of international trade relations for the betterment of the nation. If Bain did it. It was to make companies profitable. Americans want cheap over quality. To compete, companies many times have to outsource. Romney isn't responsible for the demand and price level determined by the consumer. He is responsible for managing a company who sought to make companies profitable based on current market trends and future predictions.
I don't think some liberals understand business.
I agree and in red.....
So, FactCheck is a credible source if it agrees with you? Not so much you, Carpy but I've seen plenty of Cons, even in this very post, who will discredit FactCheck w/o even reading what they have to say.
Even if the OP is correct, it doesn't affect my vote.

Thank God......it's Friday!!!
Profit is EVIL unless it's them making the profit for their own pockets.

Report: Romney talks tough on China, but Bain was key player in outsourcing trend
UPDATED 3:45 p.m. ET
(CBS News) While Mitt Romney campaigns on "getting tough" with China, the firm he founded nearly 30 years ago, Bain Capital, was a key player in the acceleration of the outsourcing trend that has shifted millions of American jobs overseas, the Washington Post reported Friday, citing its analysis of the financial company's securities filings with the government.
"While Bain was not the largest player in the outsourcing field, the private equity firm was involved early on, at a time when the departure of jobs from the United States was beginning to accelerate and new companies were emerging as handmaidens to this outflow of employment," the newspaper wrote.
The newspaper noted that outsourcing jobs has negative effects on individuals, specific firms and some communities. It has also lowered prices for American consumers and made many U.S. companies more profitable from the global supply chain it has created.
"Bain played several roles in helping these outsourcing companies, such as investing venture capital so they could grow and providing management and strategic business advice as they navigated this rapidly developing field," the newspaper said.
That reality is in sharp contrast to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's rhetoric in his 2012 bid for the White House.
Speaking to workers at a Toledo fence factory in Ohio earlier this year, Romney said China has "been able to put American businesses out of business and kill American jobs."
"If I'm president of the United States, that's going to end," he said.
The Romney campaign issued a statement denouncing the story.
"This is a fundamentally flawed story that does not differentiate between domestic outsourcing versus offshoring nor versus work done overseas to support U.S. exports," said Andrea Saul, spokeswoman for the Romney campaign, adding that if Romney wins the White House, "he will implement policies that make it easier and more attractive for companies to create jobs here at home."
And President Obama's campaign predictably touted the report as evidence that Romney does not care about average workers, calling it a "breathtaking hypocrisy" in a press release early Friday morning.
"It's particularly egregious coming on a day when Gov. Romney began running an ad in Ohio promising to stand up to China, demanding a level playing field for our businesses and workers, when it turns out his companies were actually involved in shipping jobs to China and India," Obama campaign strategist David Axelrod later told reporters on conference call.
Mr. Obama plans to reference the report in a speech Friday afternoon at a community college in Tampa, Florida.
"Today it was reported in The Washington Post that the companies [Romney's] firm owned were 'pioneers' in the outsourcing of American jobs to places like China and India. Pioneers!" Mr. Obama plans to say, according to his prepared remarks. "Tampa, we don't need an outsourcing pioneer in the Oval Office. We need a president who will fight for American jobs and American manufacturing. And that's what my plan will do."

Outsourcing: any task, operation, job or process that could be performed by employees within an organization, but is instead contracted to a third party for a significant period of time (could be domestic or foreign).
Off-shoring: a type of outsourcing that involves the relocation of a company's business process, processes, or services (ex: manufacturing production) to a foreign country in order to take advantage of lower costs...
Maybe you are happy with how things were going before President Obama took office. Maybe you are one of the lucky ones who was not effected in any way by the mess we were in... I don't know... either way, I don't trust "business men" too much these days. I'd rather have a President in office... but that's just me. By the way, what do feel about that whole thing about certain people from the GOP stating that they need someone to sign shit in when in office, not actually come up with ideas?... It was something like that right?...
The Gov't is a BIG business and maybe it should be run as one for a change. You know, you can't spend more than you take in or you will go bankrupt. If we continue what we've been doing we will end up like Greece or worse.
